Quick verdict

On current user reviews, Genspark is the safer pick. Its 49 most recent unprompted Trustpilot reviews average 4.33 stars, and most come from people who use it for slides, research, and documents. Manus's 49 most recent unprompted reviews average 1.14, and 47 of them give one star.

Most of the Manus complaints are about billing, refunds, credits spent on failed tasks, and a support desk that reviewers say is run by AI agents. Several of those reviewers say the product itself works. Genspark's complaints are fewer and center on credits: its one-star reviews are all about credit or usage limits.

Manus still makes sense if you want an autonomous agent that builds and deploys web apps or runs scheduled tasks, you like its published $20 entry price, and you keep a close eye on your billing. If neither suits you, the Flowith section below covers a third option.

How we read the Manus and Genspark reviews

We pulled the 50 most recent Trustpilot reviews of each company on September 27, 2026. Trustpilot labels each review as invited by the company or unprompted. Each sample had 49 unprompted reviews and one invited review, so the averages above compare unprompted to unprompted, and the single invited reviews are too few to say anything.

The date ranges differ. Manus's 50 reviews go back to June 10, more than three months, while Genspark's 50 all arrived between September 16 and 26. Genspark is getting reviews far faster, so its sample shows a short, recent window and Manus's shows a longer one. Three of the Manus one-star reviews, all posted on June 11, describe withdrawing money from what reads like an investment platform and may not be about Manus. Leaving them out moves the Manus average from 1.14 to 1.15.

What Manus reviewers report

Support is the most common complaint. Reviewers describe replies from AI agents that mark a case as escalated or resolved while nothing changes, and long waits to reach a person. The next group is about money: refunds that don't arrive, double billing, trouble downgrading or cancelling, and charges after cancellation. A third group says credits ran out on tasks that failed or on an agent that didn't follow the prompt. Some of these reviewers separate the product from the company and say the agent itself was fine.

“Manus itself was fine but the customer support team was the worst team I've ever dealt with.”Bob, Trustpilot, September 2026
“After one day it had burned $1200 in credits and had not generated a remotely useable app.”Dean Lamb, Trustpilot, July 2026

The two positive reviews in the sample come from a user who has Manus make weekly social media ads and check two websites for errors, and from a user who says the product and its support response times have improved a lot since early 2025.

What Genspark reviewers report

Slide decks come up most often in the positive reviews, followed by research and reports. Reviewers also like having many models and tools in one subscription, and several name a support agent who fixed a billing or technical problem. The complaints are about credits. One-star reviewers describe a free account hitting its credit limit on the first prompt, an image-generation limit that kept resetting, and the September 18 change that replaced unlimited chat for new members with a weekly quota. Some four- and five-star reviewers also call credit use high, and a few say support replies can take days.

“One of the things I use it for most is creating presentations and slides, and the quality has honestly been outstanding.”Arsalan Majid, Trustpilot, September 2026
“The only drawback has been the relatively high credit consumption, which felt burdensome at times.”Kenneth Ark, Trustpilot, September 2026

Manus vs Genspark pricing and credits

Manus lists its plans in its help center: a free plan with 300 credits a day, Pro from $20 a month for 4,000 credits, a $40 tier with 8,000 credits and a 7-day free trial, and Team from $20 per seat. Genspark's help center gives credit amounts (Plus from 10,000 a month, Pro from 125,000) and the Team price of $30 per seat, but the individual plan prices sit behind a sign-in page, so we left them out of the table.

Neither company's credit is a fixed unit of work. Manus charges by model tokens, virtual machine time, and third-party API calls; its own examples range from 200 credits for a 15-minute chart to 900 for an 80-minute web app. Genspark charges by model tier, output length, resolution, and retries. A plan with more credits on Genspark doesn't mean more work than a plan with fewer on Manus. Genspark adds a weekly Free Quota for Standard-mode tasks on paid plans; Manus has no equivalent. Manus refunds credits for tasks that fail on its side, while Genspark charges for each failed retry. The Manus reviews above suggest users often disagree with Manus about which failures count.

Where Manus wins

  • Published pricing: you can see what Pro costs ($20 a month for 4,000 credits) before you sign up.
  • Its free plan refreshes 300 credits every day, where Genspark's daily free credits stop once a lifetime allowance is used.
  • It is built around one autonomous agent that plans a task, runs it in a cloud computer, and can deploy the web app it builds.
  • Its help center says credits are refunded for tasks that fail because of a technical issue on Manus's side.
  • Team credits are pooled, so light users' unused credits cover heavy users.

Where Genspark wins

  • Far stronger recent reviews: 4.33 stars across 49 unprompted Trustpilot reviews, against 1.14 for Manus.
  • Slides are its most praised output, and reviewers also use it for research, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Paid plans include a weekly Free Quota and core chat and image models at no credit cost, up to a limit.
  • Top-up credits stay valid for 3 months, and the help center documents Team and Enterprise terms in detail.
  • Several reviewers praise its support, some naming the agent who helped. Few Manus reviewers say the same.

When neither Manus nor Genspark fits: Flowith

Manus and Genspark organize work as chats and agent tasks. Flowith lays work out on a branching canvas, where each prompt and output is a node you can fork and compare. Its Agent Neo handles long, multi-step tasks, and the Knowledge Garden keeps your notes and clipped sources where the agent can use them. One plan covers 40+ text, image, and video models.

The free Starter plan gives 300 credits once, which is less than the daily refills on Manus or Genspark's free plans. Pro is $19.90 a month for 20,000 credits (see Flowith pricing). Reviewers raise two caveats: credits run out fast on heavy use and don't roll over, and the canvas takes time to learn if you're used to a chat window. Flowith has only 1 Trustpilot review, a one-star one, so we can't compare its ratings with either company's.

Manus vs Genspark FAQ

Is Manus or Genspark cheaper?+

Manus publishes its prices: Pro starts at $20 a month for 4,000 credits, with a $40 tier for 8,000 credits, and annual billing saves 17%. Genspark's help center lists Plus from 10,000 credits a month and Pro from 125,000, with about 20% off for annual billing, but its pricing page requires sign-in, so we could not confirm the dollar prices. The two companies measure credits differently, so a credit count on one does not buy the same amount of work on the other.

Which has better reviews, Manus or Genspark?+

Genspark, by a wide margin. In the 50 most recent Trustpilot reviews of each (pulled September 27, 2026), Genspark's 49 unprompted reviews average 4.33 stars and Manus's 49 average 1.14. Each company had one invited review in its sample, too few to compare. Manus's 50 reviews span June 10 to September 27, 2026, while Genspark's span September 16 to 26, so Genspark collects reviews much faster.

Who owns Manus?+

Manus announced on December 29, 2025 that it is joining Meta. Its announcement says the company continues to operate from Singapore and to sell subscriptions through its own app and website. Genspark is run by MainFunc Inc. through its subsidiary Genspark Inc., according to Genspark's terms of service.

Do unused credits roll over on Manus or Genspark?+

Monthly plan credits reset each cycle on both. Manus add-on credits carry over while you keep a paid subscription and become inactive if it lapses. Genspark top-up credits are valid for 3 months. Manus says it refunds credits for tasks that fail because of a technical issue on its side; Genspark's credits guide says each failed agent retry costs credits.

What if neither Manus nor Genspark fits?+

Flowith is one option, with a node-based canvas, the Agent Neo agent, a Knowledge Garden for your own sources, and 40+ models on one plan. It has a free Starter plan with 300 one-time credits and a Pro plan at $19.90 a month. Its credits also run out fast on heavy use, the canvas takes time to learn, and it has only 1 Trustpilot review, so its ratings can't be compared with either.
